The rear of the mount may be carefully squeezed tighter by using a vise and some protective cloth or tape ... remove the rail of course then go slowly and check for fit as you go.

Hi Nathan,

Have you got your items?

Yep, magazines in NZ are really expensive. I am looking for a m14 mag, and a 20 rounds one cost $399. That is ridiculous.

Dave, A big thanks for your prompt reply to my last comment. That is awesome service and I am grateful for setting me up with an awesome SKS addon and parts :) I love the Magwedge G3 Tactical for the SKS and I recommend this to anyone who owns a SKS. I am very proud that it is a Canadian product, made here in BC in the lower mainland and something I can call our own. Thanks for a great product.

I just received the Magwedge Tactical version with the cut-out for stripper clips. It was quite easy to install and now I can mount a scope. In the "Magwedge Kwikrail installation video, there were two rear take down pins supplied, one was a quick release and the other, a permanent bolt with screw. Mine did not come with the quick release pin. Is there suppose to be a quick release pin with the Tactical version and if not? Is it possible to purchase one from you as I live in Vancouver, B.C.

A prompt reply would be appreciated.

Thanks

I just installed my Magwedge rail and found that there was a gap between the rail and receiver. I took the kwikpin out as the loose rail will effect accuracy and then inserted the screw. Well, just as I tightened the screw, the allan key hole stripped. No, it is not over tightened. Now it is mounted solid on the frame. Good for now, but when I need to clean the gun, I will have to drill the screw out. Anybody else having the same problem, if so, how did you fix it?

G'day,
Just wondering if you can ship a g9 mag wedge to New Zealand? Love the idea as AR mags are plentiful here and a tapco or promag 20 round for sks will run for around $300 here!
